Tecumseh announces João Ernesto Schreiner as new CTO

[Ann Arbor, EUA] – Tecumseh Products Company LLC, a global leader in technologies for commercial refrigeration and air conditioning, announced on Monday (February 3rd, 2025) João Ernesto Schreiner as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The executive brings to the company his great experience and leadership in Engineering, product development and technological innovation.

As CTO, Schreiner will focus on building a high-performance culture, optimizing product performance and driving advances in efficiency and sustainability. His experience will be instrumental in defining the innovation strategy, strengthening the engineering culture and ensuring that Tecumseh will continue its legacy of developing excellent and quality products, providing even greater value to its customers. 

João has a master's degree in Thermal Sciences and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Recently, he served as global R&D and PMO leader at Jeld-Wen, having previously built a solid career in companies in the refrigeration segment, such as Secop, Danfoss, Nidec and Embraco.
